Last week it felt like we were approaching spring. The daffodils were out, it was sunny, and not too cold (just a light mac required outside). It was so nice, I even felt compelled to take this photo of the sun trapped daffodils from our balcony! BUT this week the temperature has dropped dramatically and the hats, gloves, scarfs and winter coats are back on. There was even some snow today! Brrr When will this winter end? I remember my first winter in London - you could tell the anitpodeans in the office as whenever there was snow, we would be pressed against the windows to watch it. Now I am more passe but not quite to the point where I don't check it out at all (like most people in the office). Perhaps there will always be a bit of a child in me that likes to appreciate the weather. Who couldn't watch enjoy an afternoon thunderstorm in the middle of a Brisbane summer for instance?
