De La Soul

As I was downloading some photos off my phone, I came across this photo of the De La Soul gig in February. It was such a great gig and a great birthday present, so I thought I'd give it a mention here.

The gig was at the Jazz Cafe in Camden, there is an excellent review here. They are a New York hip-hop band that had some big hits in the early nineties. I really like them because musically they are brilliant, without having to resort to gangsta tactics or by treating women as sexual objects as alot of hip hop artists do.
